Frequently Asked Questions

Is AccesDirect an insurance brokerage?
No. AccesDirect is an independent pan-Canadian comparison tool. We do not hold a RIBO license and we do not sell insurance. We route your request to licensed RIBO partner brokerages in Ontario who prepare your quotes.
How much does the service cost?
Nothing. The service is 100% free for you. Partner brokerages are compensated by insurers, not by you.
How long does the comparison take?
About 3 minutes to fill out the form. The broker typically contacts you within 24-48 hours with several quotes.
Will I receive unwanted calls?
No. One broker handles your request. You are not contacted by multiple insurers simultaneously.
Am I obligated to accept a quote?
Absolutely not. Zero commitment. Compare, think it over, and decide at your own pace.
Which insurers are in your network?
Our partner brokerages have access to 20+ Canadian insurers. We do not name individual insurers to avoid any appearance of recommendation — the goal is your best price, not promotion of a specific player.
Does it work in Ontario?
Yes. Since 2026, we connect Ontario residents to RIBO licensed brokers regulated by the FSRA. We cover Toronto, Ottawa, Mississauga, Hamilton, London, Windsor, Brampton and 8 other cities.
How do I file a complaint?
See our complaint handling process. Complaints can also be filed with RIBO or the insurance ombudsman.
