Frequently asked questions

Is AccesDirect a brokerage?
No. AccesDirect is an independent pan-Canadian comparator. We don’t hold a RIBO licence, we don’t sell insurance. We route your request to RIBO-licensed partner brokerages in Ontario that prepare your quotes.
How much does the service cost?
Nothing. Service is 100% free for you. Partner brokerages are paid by carriers, not by you.
How long does comparison take?
About 3 minutes to fill the form. The broker typically contacts you within 24-48 hours with multiple quotes.
Will I get unwanted calls?
No. A single broker handles your request. You’re not contacted by multiple carriers simultaneously.
Am I obligated to accept a quote?
Absolutely not. Zero obligation. Compare, think it over, decide at your own pace.
Which carriers are in your network?
Our partner brokerages access 20+ Canadian carriers. We don’t name carriers individually to avoid any recommendation bias — the goal is your best rate, not promoting a specific player.
Does it work in Ontario?
Yes. Since 2026, we connect Ontario residents to RIBO-licensed brokers regulated by FSRA. We cover Toronto, Ottawa, Mississauga, Hamilton, London, Windsor, Brampton and 8 other cities.
How do I file a complaint?
See our complaint handling process. Complaints can also be filed with RIBO or the insurance ombudsman.
